Participating in the 3rd Eco-Gastronomy Event – Connecting People and the Planet through Food 🌱

On July 23, 2025, Nakataka Co., Ltd. participated in the 3rd Eco-Gastronomy Event – Connecting People and the Planet through Food at Sun Lapo Murakumo in Shimane, Japan. This year’s theme focused on using fish trimmings and vegetables.

This tasting event is part of Japan’s “Moonshot R&D Program for Agriculture, Forestry, and Fisheries”, which explores new possibilities in food production by utilizing underused biological resources.

The event featured a variety of creative dishes that made use of fish trimmings and non-standard vegetables. Nakataka proudly contributed SABA MATSUE Ramen, a ramen that highlights the natural umami of mackerel, which was very well received by attendees! 🐟🍜

Through initiatives like this, we aim to reduce food loss, make the most of local resources, and promote new food cultures. It was an inspiring opportunity to experience a delicious and sustainable future of food.
